I bought a manual for my new job, four years ago. I've never reset the trip computer.
My dashboard lets me know I've done an average of 24mph over the last 41,000 miles.
I swear my clutch foot gets sore after driving in heavy traffic.
Neutral. Ride that motherfucker as much as possible. Get any speed at all, switch to neutral, ride out until you stop, stay in neutral, and when that fucker in front of you finally moves switch back into gear and go. Doesn't solve your problem, it merely helps.
I have an old truck with a double low 1st gear. I just let it creep along
and when you finally get to 3rd......oh its ON NOW.
That's why I eventually gave up on manual transmission. Diving it in Dallas, TX traffic sucked all the fun out of it. I still miss it, but I would not go back to driving a stick :/
Had to drive into Chicago in a manual for the first time a few weeks ago, I'm so glad I don't have to do that every day.
When it hasn't been your day, your week, your month, or even your year.
That's why my FIL is selling his Bullit Mustang after 4 years of driving in Vancouver.
