104 PermanentThrowaway0 A Goofy Movie. Now here me out on this. My father is not the smartest man. While growing up my father was not around that much due to work so I cherished every time that i would be able to see him, which was not that often. This resulted in my dad missing out on some parts in my life while growing up. He always portrayed himself as the goofy type (I mean the guy has a handlebar mustache). This movie not only has a great soundtrack and voice acting, it really hits that father/son relationship * Goofy is a single parent * Goofy is scared of losing his connection with his only son * Once Goofy and Max get in a fight and make up, Max has to remember what his dad has taught him or else his dad will die. To me one of the scenes that gets me the most is when they are in their fight. **Max:** Now look where you got us, Dad! **Goofy:** Where I got us?! **Max:** You should've let me stay at home! **Goofy:** Why? So you'd end up in prison? **Max:** Prison?! What're you talkin' about?! **Goofy:** Your principal called me. **Max:** It's not what you think! **Goofy:** You even lied to me! **Max:** I had to! You were ruining my life! **Goofy:** I was only trying to take my boy fishin', okay?! **Max:** I'm not your little boy anymore, Dad! I'm grown up! I've got my own life now! **Goofy:** I know that! I just wanted to be part of it! You're my son, Max. No matter how big ya get, you'll always be my son. Edit: formating
