In high school I was friends with two brothers Rob and Mike. They ended up hanging out more with a group of kids that were into doing painkillers, not my scene, but we all still hung out from time to time. Rob ended up selling me his nice, newer Dolomite ski boots at the start of winter one season for next to nothing, says he doesn't even ski anymore. Nice score for me since I had just received new skis for Xmas . A couple weeks later Rob and Mike are hanging out with us at my house when Mike sees the boots in my closet and blurted out in a surprised, sad tone, 'Rob, not the Dolomites....'
It wasn't until a year later I realized Rob and Mike had eventually sold all of their belongings to support their drug habits. So every time I see a post about these mountains I think of that. Random, but there it is.
Shut yo mouth!
Edit: Sorry I was thinking Shaft, damn it Anyways, still bell bottoms
Pimpin' hoes and clockin' a grip like my name was Dolomite

The Avenging Disco Mountain Range. Glorious.
I love these. Simply for the fact I convinced my Girlfiend at the time that we were gping to see the "Dolomitays".
