Are there any places in Manitoba where the public can view fossils in situ?
What would you say is the coolest Geological feature of Manitoba?
Hey everyone! Thanks for doing this AMA. What's the strangest item the museum has ever been gifted?
Hi, thanks for doing the AMA! I've got a few questions:
* Which upcoming exhibit/event are you most excited about?
* Do you, as curators, travel much to get items for the museum?
* If so, any cool stories? :P
Thank you so much everybody! We had a great time answering your questions. Follow us on social media (ManitobaMuseum across the board) to stay up to date on everything happening!
Have a great day!

Hi Reddit! We are from the Manitoba Museum in Winnipeg, Manitoba. We’re here for a second AMA since we had so much fun with the last one. We do work on many aspects of human and natural history, from the relationship between prairie plants and their pollinators, to fossils of fridge-sized armadillos!
It's #AskACurator day, so ask us anything!
* Kevin Brownlee, Curator of Archaeology
* Dr. Diana Bizecki-Robson, Curator of Botany
* Dr. Graham Young, Curator of Geology and Paleontology
* Cindy Colford, Manager, Collections and Conservation
We’ll be answering questions between 12 and 1 pm today!

Maybe each of you have a different answer for this one:
Over your entire career, which day stands out as most significant?
What's an item in storage you wish was out on display?
How many items are in storage and how often do you rotate them?
What is your stance on cryptozoology? Do you believe any of our Great Lakes could be hiding a Cyptid?
Do you have a favourite one?
