Wow. So happy you are all right. Did the Towers at Mullet bay resort next to your school survive?

You mentioned the Dutch, French, US, and Canadian militaries evacuated their own citizens, with Canada being slow in their efforts. Marriott is being given significant criticism for only evacuating their own guests from St. Thomas, while leaving others that were not their guests. Did you witness other countries only evacuating their own citizenry and if so, did this cause comparable frustrations with the present and capable militaries?
You said the eye went over the island. How was the calm as it passed over?
Was there still a roar from the wind in the distance?
Isn't that island part owned by Dutch and French? Which country sent help?
How did the school do in terms of preparing students?
What was the eye of the storm like?
Did you see sun?
Was it calm?
Did your ears pop?
Did the wind blow the other way as the eye passed?
i have quite a few friends and family living on sint maarten and want to go there to volunteer do you know what organisations i could contact?
What was the feeling of the community in general before and after the storm?
So sad to see the destruction that happened there and in Barbuda, Florida and the USVI's compared to what happened to me here in Puerto Rico. Us here are trying our best to aid you guys that were affected greatly by the hurricane. My question is is the aid the world is sending you guys getting there?
