10Animebeats I was just about to post about this, so sad to see him go after he started to get more recognition for his work.
You may recall he had an appearance on Marvel's [Luke Cage](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HDbby88le74) and [American Dad](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tITz-42MbRI)
But besides his cameo appearances, he stood strong on his own, always delivering a great performance, I recommend anyone reading this to watch his performance at [Rockpalast in 2013](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cMuYD93dOho), You'll see what I mean through the sweat (he really sweats a lot) and emotion he puts into his songs. I highly recommend watching his ["What's In My Bag" segment](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I33XvzfvFho) as well. I'm sad I never got to see him live.
He was my introduction to the genre of Soul Music and he's still my favorite to do it. I remember seeing a post a few years back on /r/listentothis with [this song](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YJmaSx4jg2I) and it made me a fan for life.
Thank you Charles, I love and miss you already
3isldlife First Sharon Jones and now Charles Bradley. Bummer.
2JmannDriver I was able to see him a few months ago and I passed on it. I regret this so much. He may have started late in his career but his music was amazing.
2-StarHawK- saw him so recently at Sloss Music Fest. He was absolutely amazing. It saddens me that he passed on, but strengthens my heart that he lives on within me.
1boomgrowl Gutted. This man has been the soundtrack to all my dates for as long as I've been dating. Sad day.
1ThirdAve Saw him live a couple years ago. This one saddens me a bit. So much heart in his music, it really touched me.
