72 Bishop-Mildert All my mates that I’ve shown Death Grips hated it, but I fucking love them! Definitely an acquired taste
19 GlockLesner This is the second death grips song I’ve ever heard, both were from reddit posts and both are bangers. Will def check out their other albums you guys are raving about
19 Ledbetter2 Exmilitary is my fav album of them. Fucking amazing
38 Mrsaturn260 Death grips is definitely an acquired taste. This is the on,y song on exmilitary I like. The money store is one of the most most original albums out there though.
8 Xx_GabeBarber_xX I close my eyes and seize it I clench my fist and beat it I light my torch and burn it I am the beast I worship
6 Lolatyourban999 Nice use of Janes' Addiction there.
6 AllTheRowboats93 I saw these guys live a few years back and it was a total assault on the senses. Almost 2 hours of nonstop abrasive energy. It was amazing.
4 Zachari4h I'm the king, man! I run the underworld, guy!
4 ringkun This actually sounds a bit motivational. Not sure what the lyrics are
4 CeilingJaguar Death Grips are an absolute acquired taste. Very abrasive and noisy. Did not care for them the first few times I tried them out. Then finally it just clicked, the music they create is about the spontaneous raw energy. Their early stuff is the most structured and rhythmic, ex-military and the money store should be the starting point for people interested in checking them out. Also watch some live videos to help convey that energy.
8 theoneoff75 Death grips is online.
6 lunarmodule Fuck yeah with these guys. Good post. This might be a stretch but they remind me of Buckethead in that kind mildly abrasive but awesome kind of way. Completely interesting, experimental, talented, but like a tick off being easy to listen to. Challenging? Good on you, OP for even picking a category. That's fair. I wouldn't have even known what to call it.
3 Aqua__vitae Who was that speaking in the intro?
3 MaciiNyan Death Gripschanged my view on music a lot. Their abrasive but extremely catchy sound always makes me speechless. It's also amazing how they managed to release a record every single year of amazing quality. Shoutout to r/deathgrips :)
