*Well, we wuz just tryin' ta git the powa back on in our trailer. We figured the pole would do it.*
I had a buddy I played hockey with who worked for the city. They had a bunch of these lying around after doing several upgrades to ones on the highway. He asked his sup what they do with them and he said they just cut them up and recycle them.
He said his sup allowed him to cut up two of them and take them to the recycling place. Said he made close to a grand doing it.
So, steal a pole, but put a flag on it, so they at least followed that law... poorly as it's still too damn long, but it's funny that they at least tried.
He was probably gonna scrap it. Little did he know shit like that is marked and tagged. Can't scrap government property like that.
That's not desperation, that's just looting.
Look like typical FP&L contractors to me...
Scrap metal thieves are the scum of the earth. They'll do thousands and thousands of dollars of damage for a few bucks.
When Florida, out-Florida's itself.
oh jacksonville ... never change. or do change, pls..
I feel like "caught" is the wrong word. Its not like could hide it, or like possibly run away with it if they got spotted. They were seen with a pole, it just happened to be the police who saw them.
Just need to drive under the speed limit so the cops dont stop you
But what about the poor meth dealer who will never get all that money?
... which is why I tell nobody about my own emergency preparedness.
