I can’t even look at this. Overload of cuteness.
Baby chickens are so goofy. They'll sleep anywhere. I had one fall asleep on top of my head once, which was a little nerve wracking since I was afraid he'd fall off if I moved at all.

Chickens are precious. Most people don’t think of them as particularly affectionate animals, let alone pets, but they make amazing pets and are super sweet. When I was little, my grandparents had this hen named Gretchen that *LOVED* me. She knew the sound of our car and would come running to greet me, every time. I’d then pick her up and carry her around like an oversized stuffed animal for the rest of the day. It was awesome.
Mind you, my grandparents were also poultry farmers... Gretchen was intended to be sold for meat.
But after seeing how close we got, my grandparents couldn’t bring themselves to sell her, let alone slaughter her themselves. So she became a housepet and lived for a good long while into old age.
I loved that chicken.
You got to witness his first food coma
I’m following the cat’s advice: if I fits, I sits.
Are you sure he’s not pining for the fjords of a Norway?
I probably would too if I, as a baby, was set in a tub of breast milk
first read this as "passed away", wondered why it was in a subreddit about cuteness when it seemed so sad, glad I reread the headline
don't worry, that's just the Itis
Holy shit. Glad that I found that it is pass out than pass away. Ffs I thought it was dead. Thanks god please take good care of your pet:))
