12 whalehome This post is so over the top and wrong. I don't understand the need to put a spin on pokemon just to make the humans look evil and the pokemon subjugated. This poster seems to think that pokemon don't battle on their own which is wrong. They wrongly claim pokemon can't evolve without training, but if you watch the anime or played any of the games you would know that isnt even close to being true. The whole premise is flawed to claim that pokemon battles are a bloodsport when it isnt. Consider this, wild pokemon do battle without trainers. If a wild pokemon faints its likely to die in the wild if it doesn't recover and get preyed on by another pokemon. With a trainer they can battle, faint and then get taken to a pokemon center. Pokemon have autonomy like this user said, so why is it assumed that they are forced to battle, instead of pokemons enjoying battling.
