8 PM_ME_UR_Definitions I remember reading a quote somewhere, I think Andy Rubin, or someone else at Android Inc., that said basically they knew their model was going to be more hardware intensive. That would mean a competitive phone would be more expensive initially, but that over time hardware always gets much cheaper and that in a few years the benefits would outweigh the costs. And today we have phones like the Moto E4 that cost less than $100 and come with 2 gigs of ram. Which is an amount that would've seemed like a crazy luxury just a few years ago.
