2 usagizero It's probably better he didn't. As much as i enjoy his work, the art and backstory for the Oompa Loompas would be seen as pretty racist if released today. Not sure just making the protagonist black would have been just a swap. Also, why describe the race/ethnicity of a character in the first place? If you keep it more open, then anyone can relate more to them and view them as they like.
