I once rode in a car with someone I had never rode with for a short roadtrip. On the highway, pushed their foot on the accelerator for 1-2 seconds, then let off the accelerator for 1-2 seconds, for the WHOLE 35 MINUTES on the interstate.
You noticeably felt the acceleration, and then felt the fall back from lack of gas. THE WHOLE WAY.
I am not one to get carsick. I was getting carsick. Had a few opportunities to ride with them again, I declined.
I hate when people drive like that. Cruise control is a blessing.
Adaptive cruise control is life on my commute here in San Diego. I can just relax and let the car deal with the speed.
I have really noticed my blood pressure improving with it.
I totally understand. As a passenger it’s bad. Even worse when you’re driving a constant speed and pass a vehicle, only to have it overtake you so that it can all begin anew. 🤨
Ya know I was just thinking "I don't go on enough road trips with my attorney"
I use cruise control as much as possible and it has revealed to me how many other drivers are inconsistent idiots. Oh, hi person I've passed 3 times already on CC, passing me again!
Back when lawyers were also cab drivers...
