When I was a kid my dad brought me to a football game and my dad's friend sat in the seat right in front of me. When he leaned back in his seat, my foot got caught in the seat and started crushing it. I didn't say anything for several minutes and it wasn't until my dad looked over and saw my face had gone pale and I had tears running down my face that he realized what was happening.
I would have never told her.

I went to work with a UTI once. I honestly tried calling in sick and told my boss about the situation but he just guilt tripped me into working anyway, and I was too polite to say no. I was probably in the bathroom most of the time near tears because of how painful it was :(
It was my first job so I bent over backwards for those people.
