*This will not vaporize human flesh*
Exactly what I was wondering, can’t cook hotdogs with it.
Holy shit. For years now I've spent hours grinding away layers of metal to remove rust in the Navy and thereby reducing the thickness. Eventually the thickness gets reduced too far and then expensive build up repairs have to be done. I'm interested in the gasses produced using this; this kind of tech could be huge in an aging fleet depending on operating costs.
The gif said that sublimation is when metal is turned to gas but it's actually when a solid is turned into gas, not just a metal.
So all of the dirt and whatnot absorb the energy from the laser and evaporate...It just goes into the air and then you breathe that in? That can't be good for you.
Does it damage eyes like a laser pointer does?
