I never knew how emotionally attached to Clone Wars characters I had become until the end of that season. Then season six happened :(.
I wish they'd bring back the Clone Wars series😞😩
At the end of this episode contains some of my favorite dialogue in animation between Anakin and Ahsoka. Fantastic facial and body animations while they're speaking and pure emotion delivered by the voice actors. Some people might not think its special but everything really stuck out to me in that final conversation in the sewers. Hits you right in the gut.
I JUST watched this arc for the first time this week. It established this series as MUST WATCH for Star Wars canon. I didn’t love every episode, or every season. But by the time I got to this arc, I cared about Ahsoka, and her relationship with Anakin.
This arc reached a moment of development in Anakin’s character in a profound way that, frankly, the prequel trilogy didn’t do for me. Amazing stuff.
I really wish I could get into animated Star Wars. I know I’m missing out, but cartoons just don’t capture my attention. Btw, she should put that lightsaber out! So does she survive order 66?
