r/succulents will pour one out for a lost homie.
Who would steal a cactus? What a prick.
Just get a new cactus and put a sign on it that says "WARNING: HIGHLY TOXIC, CONTACT WILL RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH".
If they're stupid enough to steal a cactus, they're dumb enough to think they're filled with poison.
You should show the number, then us redditors could get together and donate that person loads of cacti!
Have you tried calling the local pet shelter. It could have gotten lost
This person reminds me of my mom.
My parents had this small entry way to our front door. The entry had a door on either side, but the only lock was on the interior door. My mom has always had a ton of pictures/paintings and other artwork in the entry (mostly Christian themed). Whenever one of her friends would ask her, “Don’t you worry that they’ll be stolen?”, her response was always something to the effect of, “Well, maybe they need the reminders more than me. If they [the artwork] can affect a person in need of some love and guidance, then they’re in the right hands.”
Good on the Cactus Owner for being more passionate about imparting their passion than missing the material.
It's like negotiating with a thief.
