You kind of look like the girl from the “it’s a pant suit” video! In the best way possible. This was super heartwarming and you have a beautiful smile! Happy days ahead ❤️
Gosh I love those wrinkles on the nose when someone laughs.
That sounds great! You have a lovely smile :)
(I don't know you IRL, just YouTube & insta)
I'm guessing the audition was for modeling
PTSD is no friggen joke, OP. I'm glad that you're working through it. Congrats on overcoming!
I’m very happy that life is has gotten better for you. PTSD is very tough. Way to stay strong. You go girl!
Hey! I'm a an actor and filmmaker in Los Angeles and it is TOUGH to be in an industry where rejection is a daily constant. As someone who's been lucky to have some decent wins along the way, I offer this unsolicited advice - don't give a fuck. This industry will try to convince you that YOU are in control ("send casting postcards" "show up early and people will know you're a professional") and then turn around and perpetuate the myths that keep this town running (you have to be a certain age/height/race/gender/talent-level/etc in order to "make it")
It's all bullshit. All of it.
Work your craft, get really good, and then learn to just enjoy the ride. Your success is not a reflection on you as a person. So many factors are outside of your control. I don't mean things that might embitter you such as "It's all who you know" or the Hollywood myths; I mean that you might walk in, have the greatest audition of your life, and not know that casting just got an email about an actor they vouched for who is currently on set (which costs $2000 - $5000 a minute to run) who can't remember his lines and the producer is pissed. And this is pretty much the emails they get all day! lol!
TL;DR: When I stopped giving a fuck, I booked like crazy.
A Bill Murray line from Broken Flowers...
The past is gone.
I know that.
The future isn’t here yet,
Whatever it’s going to be.
So… all there is is this.
I’d say the present is looking very good. Best wishes from an internet stranger.
I love the way your nose wrinkles when you smile!
