Same thing happened with my project. I poured some concrete for the base of the patio deck stairs, made it perfectly smooth and then the dog walked over it shortly after. I felt like it was ruined, but my girlfriend loves it. Now it's my favourite part too.
That's amazing! She will love that especially since it's handmade. Those are the best kind of presents. I love this
