>In late October, **Jared Kushner made an unannounced trip to Riyadh, catching some intelligence officials off guard.** “The two princes are said to have stayed up until nearly 4 a.m. several nights, swapping stories and planning strategy,” the Washington Post’s David Ignatius reported at the time.
>What exactly Kushner and the Saudi royal talked about in Riyadh may be known only to them, but after the meeting, **Crown Prince Mohammed told confidants that Kushner had discussed the names of Saudis disloyal to the crown prince,** according to three sources who have been in contact with members of the Saudi and Emirati royal families since the crackdown. Kushner, through his attorney’s spokesperson, denies having done so.
>On November 4, **a week after Kushner returned to the U.S., the crown prince, known in official Washington by his initials MBS, launched what he called an anti-corruption crackdown. The Saudi government arrested dozens of members of the Saudi royal family and imprisoned them** in the Ritz-Carlton Riyadh, which was first reported in English by The Intercept. The Saudi figures named in the President’s Daily Brief were among those rounded up; at least one was reportedly tortured.
Well that's concerning. [From a previous WaPo story:](https://www.washingtonpost.com/amphtml/politics/overhaul-of-white-house-security-clearance-process-could-threaten-kushners-access/2018/02/16/09f2dc9e-11b5-11e8-9065-e55346f6de81_story.html?__twitter_impression=true
>And apart from staff on the National Security Council, **[Kushner] issues more requests for information to the intelligence community than any White House employee,** according to a person with knowledge of the situation, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe private discussions.
Sounds like the White House should have taken the incredible number of issues with his security clearance forms more seriously, considering those issues were known for several months prior to him having his access downgraded.
The Saudi Crown Prince has boasted that Jared Kushner is "in his pocket." He also has told people that when Kushner paid a surprise (to intel officials) visit to him last year, that Kushner shared the names of Saudi Royals that were disloyal to him.
>"Kushner has grown so close to the Saudi/Emirati crown princes that he has communicated with them directly using WhatsApp according to a senior Western official and a source close to the Saudi royal family."
This is the same dude who tried to set up back-channel communications with the Russians through the Russian embassy during the transition and now he is using Whatsapp to talk to foreign leaders off the record and in violation of federal records laws.
The Intercept is really doing incredible reporting these days.
>Kushner, who had been tasked with bringing about a deal between Israel and Palestine
*So cringe worthy*...
They all are.
Trump voters didn't like Hillary because of her globalist connections - so they voted in a bunch of globalists.
How in the fuck is a dude who can't pass a security clearance check getting any access to any information?
Nobody cares that he's fucking the presidents daughter, but that somehow counts as security clearance for the fucking white house? You're government is beyond corrupt, and quite obvious about their lack of interest in protecting the citizens of the united states.
How in the fuck do any of them still have a job? It beggars belief. A politician here in Australia called a girl a bitch in high school and lost his job. Yet you have clear evidence of collusion, election tampering, literal treason and the only response is nothing. We eagerly await that orange monkeys latest tweet, while the world burns around our ears.
My wife and I have always wanted to move to the united states, but I'm not doing it anymore. Your country is being run as a business, by a known piece of shit, corrupt businessman. And too many people are okay with it.
You agreed to get rid of your own medical insurance, because fuck the poor, not even realising it was your insurance too.
The US has such a "pull yourself up by the bootstraps" mentality, all while failing to understand that the phrase means to do the impossible. Its killing your freedom, and now your governments poisonous taint is infecting the rest of the world.
Show the world you actually care when your leader sells out to Vladimir Putin. Show your government that selling billions of dollars of weaponry to people who train and arm the very people the government tells you to be afraid of isn't okay. But it won't happen. I'm just a guy complaining on the internet, and nothing I say here matters. Only the citizens of the united states have any say in this, and no one in the world believes anything will ever change.
