139 [deleted] Imagine a world where the only content on r/okcupid is /u/okcnotthrowaway's articles. It's not going to come to that because we're not that goddamn uncivilized but THIS IS WHY WE NEED NET NEUTRALITY

62 blerghafoo Americans - seriously, what is up with your country?

Most importantly, ***VOTE***. This should not be something that is so clearly split between the political parties as it affects all Americans, but unfortunately it is. *If you would like to contribute to the text in this bot's posts, [please edit this file](https://github.com/tylerbrockett/NetNeutralityBot-Reddit/blob/master/src/resources/message.txt) on github.* -/u/NetNeutralityBot [Contact Developer](https://www.reddit.com/message/compose/?to=tylerbrockett) | [Bot Code](https://github.com/tylerbrockett/NetNeutralityBot-Reddit) | [Readme](https://github.com/tylerbrockett/NetNeutralityBot-Reddit/blob/master/README.md)
26 omnitempomaximalism #Text "resist" to 50409! It's a bot that lets you craft a message to your congressional representatives and/or governor, then sends your message to their office as a fax! Here's what I sent. Another commenter wrote it, and I think it's a great message: "Net Neutrality is the cornerstone of innovation, free speech and democracy on the Internet. Control over the Internet should remain in the hands of the people who use it every day. The ability to share information without impediment is critical to the progression of technology, science, small business, and culture. Please stand with the public by protecting Net Neutrality once and for all."
5 StreamerLlnk Don't just up vote... Take 10 minutes out of your day to at least make one call!
5 tickr Please take this holiday as an opportunity to tell those you spend it with about it. A lot of people don’t use reddit and if they see if on facebook they’ll ignore thinking it’s just another bullshit internet petition. People need to understand how important this is, but before you tell them make your sure are well informed on the issue.
8 monster_snowgoon I'm going to write my senators (again, sigh). Though one of them was one of the proponents to repeal Title 2 classification, but I'm still going to annoy him.
3 stupidstupidreddit If net neutrality is an important issue for you, make sure you register to vote and support a candidate that will uphold net neutrality: [Click here to find out how to register to vote in your state.](https://vote.gov)
3 acid69 These are the emails of those in the FCC who will most likely vote against net neutrality, let them know you oppose of it and spread the word! ajit.pai@fcc.gov Mignon.clyburn@fcc.gov Mike.O'Rielly@fcc.gov
3 CheekaiNuclear In order to save the internet, one of these 3 men have to change their mind and vote in favor of net neutrality. Tweet at them directly and let them know what you think: https://twitter.com/AjitPaiFCC https://twitter.com/BrendanCarrFCC https://twitter.com/mikeofcc Not many people have tweeted at them from what I can see, this might be the best way to make your voice heard. Also: >https://www.fcc.gov/about/leadership Their individual contact information can be found under "Bio". https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DNGlrABUIAAr9RO.jpg This is what it looks like in Portugal without NN. E: feel free to share, spread and post this image wherever you see fit.
4 antimux You're going to have to wait for at least one more presidential election...
2 JZBreeze I think this is a bad analogy if you are trying to argue against it. The non a list version of okc is perfectly usable and the price is right (free). I'd love if my internet bill followed the okc model, cause right now I have no choice but to buy a list.
2 love_gman820 Credit to u/datums for this comment: FYI - Congress and the Senate have nothing to do with this. Only five people at the FCC get to vote. [Here they are](https://www.fcc.gov/about/leadership). The three men plan to vote to repeal net neutrality. The two women plan to vote to keep net neutrality. Their individual contact information can be found under "Bio". To defeat the net neutrality repeal, one of those three men has to change their vote. **show the internet that you love it by protecting net neutrality**!
0 Format137_BossMode Unfortunately, they've already decided to pass it. Despite [the vast majority of Americans supporting Net Neutrality already](https://medium.com/mozilla-internet-citizen/poll-americans-overwhelmingly-support-net-neutrality-98b6b77f6cfe)
