Next step is to begin chest compressions. "I'll tear your heart out!"
I was taught by American Red Cross never to check for a pulse on the far side of someone's neck for the sole reason that onlookers might think you're attacking them.
My public middle school textbooks had this kind of shit in them all the time, but usually with more penises and obscenities
Last time I saw this I laughed so hard I fell off my dinosaur
I saw some hilarious ones during my high school times.
Wish Reddit was popular back then, I would be a karma whore.
Sorry but this has been posted 4 times before. It is funny though.
When I was doing research on the science of CPR to teach my CNA class, around 2004, I went into seeing if what is taught was effective on a physical level. I found out the 60bp created by max compression(without causing extreme trauma) was enough for a full circulation of blood, but also found out during compression, the lung compresses enough to fully circulate air, 3 times more than needed. So during the CPR lessons, I taught my students the standard way, and the just compression way with the importance of the full compression needed for both max 60bp and air circulation. 2 years later, Red Cross was teaching the same model. It was nice to know I was justified in my reasoning.
This is years old, but still busts me up. Thanks!
