Its the god damn room in the middle of the temple, flood the place with water and the room your missing is under the platform that raises. I can't remember the 5th of November of my address sometimes, I will NEVER forget that last key is under the floor in the centre.
I can't be the only person who thought it wasn't that bad.
God fought back by creating iron boots.
I liked completing this temple, it was more of a challenge as compared to the others. Usually water levels heighten my anxiety to the point where I can barely play them, but not this one. Conversely, I was playing Star Wars Dark Forces and I got about 1/4 ways through the sewer level before I just could not stand it anymore and put in the cheat code to bypass the level. Ugh. The underwater creature in Shadows of the Empire also. F*** that. Even though the creatures are pixel blobs, I can't stand not knowing where they are in the water.
The puzzles aren‘t THAT bad (or atleast wouldn‘t have been if I weren‘t like 6 when I played it.)
What‘s the truly annoying part is having to open your inventory and changing boots every goddamn 5 seconds
Not even the hardest Zelda water dungeon. Jabu Jabu's Belly in Oracle of Ages is far worse.
I honestly really like the Water Temple. Aside from the tedious boot-switching I honestly don't understand why people hate it so much. It's well-designed, the puzzles are great, the atmosphere is on point, it has a freaking Dark Link miniboss in it!
Great temple. Now I wanna replay OOT again
I'm sorry. The water temple was aggravating sure. But the forest temple is the work of the devil. The darkness, the stuff dropping from ceilings, the endless soul hauntingly awful music...
Gives me the creeps even now...
It was hell growing up, and now I crave that complexity
I'd put Sen's Fortress here.
Maybe because I never played it till I was older but those palaces were never that bad for me.
Now Twilight Princess ones have me fits a few times. Their Zoe’s one fucked me up just in general. The death mountain one screwed with my sense of direction. But the worst to me was the sky temple.
I don’t know what it was about that sky temple but for the life of me I could not figure it out on my own. I think so far that’s the first and only Zelda temple where I just caved and had to look up a guide.
