EA, 2K and Activision
Have we come to expect any less?
1 out of 6 is actually an "add on" the rest are in game currency... The fact that they even sell packs of in game currency for $100 shows how broken it's become
Fortnite is a free game so I'll let it pass.
Fake currency so they can get around gambling laws. F THEM
Surprised that Destiny 2 silver is at the top. Silver is worthless. Besides exotic emotes, every other item isn't exciting and would be best to just earn engrams through gameplay to acquire them.
I miss the good ole days where games were you unlock as you progress. GTA was one of the greatest games ever and the concept still is great.
I remember when you had to go into the military base to get the op stuff in GTA V. It was such an exciting challenge to escape with a tank or heli.. But now people can just spawn them whenever they want. GTA V is now sadly greedy garbage like a lot of other once amazing game titles.
I would have zero problem with this culture of in game currency, if you personally could sell items/attires/rare cards/rare players etc to other players for real life cash.
The main problem is that it's a one way system, you're buying things that have no monetary value, it'd make sense if the things you'd paid stupid money for had the potential to be of value back to you.
That's how it is nowadays. I bet that 70 to 80% of the reason these are tops is from kids buying these
It's sad that the younger generation of gamers probably thinks this is normal
