probably got mad at everyone buying super scope games for them to take it back the same day lol
Hey! I have a Super Scope, so don't tell me what to do!
I've worked in a used games store and we had an NES Zapper returned three times in one day. One guy even appeared to know what he was talking about when he said "I know it only works on old TVs, and I have an *ancient* one!" Turns out he thought it would work on an old LCD TV from like 2005.
Lol, that reminds me of the time a Vintage Stock employee kept trying to prevent me from buying Yoshi's Safari.
He was like "You have to have a superscope."
"I know. I do."
"No, not the NES zapper, it's a different one for the SNES."
"I know. I have one. It came with Super Scope 6 when I got it in the 90s."
"Yeah, right. Nobody has a Super Scope."
"They're not exactly rare... You know what? Nevermind. Just punch the game in. I'm buying it."
Sometimes not looking "like a nerd" can put you in some serious gatekeeping situations.
The game that had Mario with a gun before Mario + Ribbids. It's pretty fun but over real quick if anyone's wondering.
I will forever be wondering what ever happened to my super scope now.
I used to have one, then I let some kids into my house to try it and they stole it from me. Miss that thing, I loved Battleclash.
Man, if only we knew what peripherals were required for this game.
I remember playing this game (with Super Scope, of course!) and being very disappointed with how quickly I finished it. Was the first and last Super Scope game I purchased.
