Kinda, but it's technically a reboot and they're starting with the Silver Chair. There will be all new actors.
I love the narnia chronicles, I love the odd feeling of knowing that they go to narnia, come back home and go back only to find like 1000 years have passed, it's like a really somber feeling to know you have gone so far past everything and everyone you know.
Just for context, little Eustace Scrubb from Dawn Treader most recently played a racist, violent cop in *Detroit*. The amount of time passed shows that any hype for this franchise has sailed on.
I hope this one is less mediocre than the others. It was my favorite book of the series.
The music of the first movie is just amazing. I love how Harry Gregson-Williams gave it an own theme. I listen to it very often.

Wish I was still mid teens when I was obsessed with these books. I must have reread each one 20 times.
They should scrap the movie idea and reboot the series with some sort of family-friendly Game of Thrones-like TV series. Go chronologically. I think with the success of Stranger Things, good shows with younger audiences in mind are conceivable now.
If silverchair isn't featured in the OST, it'll definitely be a huge lost chance.
