Cant believe he's 80. And still releasing a film almost every single year wtf.
Him and Spielberg are film making machines.
When I worked at movie theater, he would come in a lot. I never knew who he was until my last year of working there when a film student started working there, and freaking out about how casual our conversations were.
You wouldn't believe he was 80 just by looking at him.
I know his films these days are hit and miss but the rate he churns out movies is crazy.
The list of past winners is a pretty prestigious group. Congratulations, Ridley!
And what a bizarre acceptance speech he gave! One of the weirdest and most scatter-brained things I've heard in a while. Amusing though.
I wish he could one day get Best Director or at the very least a lifetime achievement Oscar.
And he deserves it, I don't care what the haters say.
