People forget about The Black Cauldron, don't they?
ITT: People who didn't watch the video and are disputing it based on the title alone.
Really? Pinocchio is considered a darker movie than Hunchback of Notre Dame?
[A movie that included things like a priest singing about how his lust for a gypsy girl is interfering with his Christian duties and how she has to either become his lover or be killed in order to free him from his sinful desires?](https://youtu.be/-NP-RsRGzVo
It's not dark for kids, only for adults who like to really overthink things. I loved this movie as a kid and didn't see it as dark. I still don't .
Pinocchio has a murderous, racist judge that uses his position to force a clergyman to help him cover his crime and to abuse the orphan he created, all while facing the internal struggle between his lust for a young woman, his celibacy, and his hatred for her people? Because I'm pretty sure the Disney movie with that character in it is the actual darkest Disney movie.
