Here's a fun fact for everyone. SLUDGEM is an acronym to identify a nerve agent attack. Also, seeing large groups of dead people or animals could indicate a gas attack.
SLUDGEM. salivation, lacrimation, urination, defecation, gastrointestinal upset, emesis, miosis
After reading the article of this terrifying poison I can add it to the short list of things:" I Rather get Ebola than this"
Seems like carrying out an attack with the nerve agent would be incredibly dangerous to the attacker as well. I’m surprised no one else has been hospitalized
How persistent is this agent? Is it going to remain on site in that area indefinitely unless they thoroughly decontaminate the entire area?
> The doctor said that even minuscule amounts could affect victims, and that symptoms could develop "in years".
This was true of nerve gas in World War I (MAO inhibitors, iirc), and the symptoms can vary tremendously from one patient to the next, which is how we knew that the federal government's dismissal of Gulf War Syndrome was obtuse bullshit.
This sounds like a terrorist attack. Or could be taken as an act of war.
