2295 IAmTrident >"The girl told school officials about the alleged assault six days later -- but she was suspended after a 24-hour investigation for “engaging in sexual activity at school” when officials determined the interaction was consensual, according to the lawsuit." Jesus christ, are you fucking kidding me? ONE DAY. ONE FUCKING DAY FOR AN INVESTIGATION.
180 [deleted] Holy shit, the comments on that article: >I'm sorry, do you know of some scientific study linking the amount of melanin present in one's epidermis to their brain's capacity to function? I'd like to read this study. >It could make sense. The south has always had a reputation for ignorance and people being uneducated. The sunny weather in the south does lead to many people having darker, tanned skin. Perhaps this is the reason for the stereotype. Perhaps the cloud cover and pasty white skin is the reason Harvard, Yale, M.I.T., etc. are in the North while the south is thought of as it is. WHAT THE FUCK.
486 Hubble_Bubble The comments... oh god, the comments. Why do I do this to myself?
251 badwolf1986 Evidently, tattling is a worse offense than gang rape.
173 fatherleadfoot Someone needs to put that articles comments on r/insanepeoplefacebook God damn, y’all!
80 HawaiianSoopaman I'm inclined to wonder WTF, but this article is devoid of any verified details or facts. So who knows WTF. I just hope the authorities get the facts straight and do what needs to be done.
204 elitedesolator Are we sure the school staff aren't also intellectually disabled?
67 Zazael I clearly read she was forced to give oral sex not once but twice, FORCED. The schools lawyer saw a massive lawsuit and it was easy to do an investigation for one day and say it was consensual and suspend the mentally challenged person rather than back up her story and involve the police. Pretty fucked up. That's pretty much saying to a reasonable person no you weren't raped you consented to it after reporting that they were FORCED.
82 AlastarYaboy >She came to us saying it was against her will >We found it to be consensual Umm, mafuckas, WOT?!
