Those animals wouldn't need welfare if they would just pull themselves up by their bootstraps.
Organic meat has to do with the "chemicals" that are not put in the meat. What exactly does animal welfare have to do with that? Absolutely nothing. Why was animal welfare ever a condition for organic meat to begin with? That makes no sense.
Animal welfare should be a rule for all meat produced in the US. It shouldn't be tied to organic products. Why can't we just pass laws like normal human beings? Why do we have to keep tying them to different things that have nothing to do with them? This is so infuriating.
A bit misleading of a title. The USDA just denied increasing animal welfare regulations, its not like they are getting rid of these regulations, they were never in place.
