522 PineapplePoppadom Shiiit, people talking about the Unabomber but he mailed like 10 bombs over 20 years or something. This level of rapid concentrated activity reminds me much more of the Beltway snipers.
606 Gbrown546 Isn't this a major thing? It's not even touched the news over here in the UK
268 tmothy07 Two explosions and one found device today alone... Things are picking up fast. Edit: Seems the latest one this evening was not a package bomb, but an incendiary device that the authorities believe is unrelated to the bombings.
103 TurboChewy The thing about something like this is that the public will be 100% in the dark until the case is basically resolved, leading us to the belief that nothing has been learned and that it's incredibly dangerous, or that the bomber is some genius evading the police. The truth is that these things take time, and the police not only have to identify the bomber but also locate any additional bombs that they may have potentially planted. Until everything is over and the person responsible has been apprehended, we'll be 100% in the dark. That's just the way it's going to be.
729 NotLucas Unbelievable to me that something like this can happen in 2018 and not have the person caught immediately. Same type of disbelief i had when they lost (and still haven’t found) the Malaysian flight MH370.
64 mustachioHMK They are reporting that this was a pipe that maybe exploded. They’re calling an incendiary device. Might not be related to other bombs. Edit: it might have been a flare put in the donation box
101 PM_YOUR_TAN_TITS Anyone else think this is a group of people doing this?
110 keelo_glass6604 My wife and live a 3 miles from the Goodwill where the last explosion took place. APD is going to catch this pathetic POS. I never thought I would live to see something like this happen in my neighborhood.
85 jeezyf I live in Austin, I honestly don’t think anyone I know is scared at all, we’re not letting some piece of shit control our day to day lives. Fuck him.
22 pizzaman2012 The bomber is dead. Killed himself after police found him.
24 MrLanids I wonder if we aren't fast approaching a breaking point. Either the bomber continues to speed up their attacks, leading to an eventual mistake (which may have already happened) and their capture... ... or they realize that the heat is on and it's time to lay low, like the Unabomber, for a period of time before starting up again. Both are crap options but I'd hope for A because at least it would mean a relatively quick end to the bombings. I don't know if we all live in a crazier world than it used to be, but we sure all know about the world's craziness more quickly and thourough than ever before.
