the stats don't sound great but actually the usa is still in the third decile, it's not THAT bad for them.
i'm a little surprised by a few of the countries in the top 15 though.
Interesting how low France is - I think without knowing anything much about it I'd rank their system above the UK's. Maybe the top-up insurance model hurts them on the UHC measure.
I wonder if any of the ones in front of us have a profit based system like in the US vs nationalized medicine nations. And how many of the ones under us have a nationalized system.
24th in the world? I would have thought we'd be worse than that.
