11 typeObloodsausage Joking aside, my oldest sister was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer at 47 and died at 49, leaving behind four kids, the youngest still in grade school. Because it was so early, my siblings and I were strongly advised to get screened even though we were all younger than 50. Of the six other siblings, five of us have had polyps removed, often multiple times (screenings are every 3 or 5 years depending if polyps are found).
This sounds like good news to me, but it does worry me that other side effects might show up related to chronically taking low doses of this drug.
-2 Boleo Excess body weight, overuse of caffeine, and 'use it or lose it' all come to mind. I've not looked into recent literature on ED and colorectal cancer, but excess fat in and around the pelvic floor area may simply exert physical pressure that clogs or closes off the pipes so to speak. Understandable, but also a little bit weird to treat that with a pill.
-1 Jrbnrbr So, what, the intellectual property rights were going to expire and this let's them be extended? Can we hurry up and bulldoze ip for science and technology? Artists are the only ones who need that protection; all other enforcement of intellectual property is stifling technological advance.
But at least they're not trying it on kids *again*.
