33 ConciselyVerbose lol do they want to make sure no one uses their shitty mail app either?
18 SkynetEngineer Thunderbird email client made by the same people who created Firefox works great on Windows 10, it also isn't data mining your email and allow links to be opened on any browser. Enjoy...
15 skidmark-steve The funniest thing was the way that many users thought Microsoft would actually let up on them once these users converted to Windows 10. Remember the Xbox One fiasco at launch. Microsoft is a company who insists on taking more and more away from consumers with each new version of a product that they produce. Other examples of this are switching off the lock screen and blocking the Windows Store. Anyway, at some point you just have to decide that enough is enough and leave.
5 KAJed I feel like if they start that they’re gonna end up in another anti-trust suit.
4 Bwana_Devil Does this happen in Linux or Apple? Where the OS forces you to use a browser other than the one that **you** set by default? I think this is just more shit from a corporation that's out of control with it's end users.
9 donthugmeimlurking Microsoft Loves Linux. What that means is they're going to make Windows such an unusable piece of garbage that everyone will be forced to switch to Linux.
7 ICanShowYouZAWARUDO Fuck off Satya Nadella. You got on my shitlist when you decided I shouldn't be given power user privileges you fucking asswipe. Then you decided my preferred privacy and security settings aren't good enough for you because you want thet sweet, sweet telemetry data. Fuck off you ass hat, you should consider yourself lucky 7 is dying in two years and that newer hardware can't be run optimally with said OS you fucking hack.
5 frenchfriar Who is still using the windows 10 mail? Eventually, at this rate, Microsoft is going to make using Windows painful enough to force everyone to move to Linux.
1 jagger1993 No one understood the point of this change. And the writer is one idiot for not making it clear, or even making the slightest attempt to explain the reason. Now, did you know that Microsoft is trying to make all UWP apps compatible to run on the "Edge Engine", so the native mail app will not open Edge to show you the link, it will open a new tab to show you the link. Same thing with word, excel, one note and the rest, you get the point
-1 QggOne Wait...people use that thing?
2 jodido47 I use Chrome on Windows 10 for my email at outlook.com. The mail app is inferior to webmail.
0 dopef123 I don’t understand what edge is. I had to help a coworker get rid of it because she couldn’t access so many websites with it and it’s setup as the default browser for windows 10. Why did they make a worse version of internet explorer?
