Can they do a personality transplant on the lead? She's super pretty and super boring.
I'd never consider myself a Trekkie, Star Trek has always been third place behind Star Wars and Stargate for me but I actually really liked Discovery. Sure the writing was a bit iffy at times but the later half of the season just got better with every episode.
My favourite thing though was the budget they committed, the CGI was fantastic and the scene where Discovery is warping around the Klingon ship has to be one of the best looking scenes in TV.
Love this show and I'm very excited to see what they'll do for a second one.
Great show. Glad it has big ratings.
Don’t get the hate I see online at all.
Thoroughly enjoy it and can’t wait to see Pike and the Enterprise in S2.
Nice, looking forward to it.
I thought Discovery Season 1 had highs and lows, and it's not really Trek, (misses the entire point of Rodenberry's Utopian outlook, and that's what defined Trek) but was at least worth pirating and watching, enjoying. It's at least interesting I suppose. And would admit it's one of the stronger first seasons of any of the shows, certainly in the top half anyways.
As a Star Trek fan i never thought I would live a day to hate a ST show with a passion. ST: ENT was mediocre when it came out, but ST: D makes it look fantastic in comparison.
I just didn't like the Klingons in this one. They reminded me of those Red Lectroids from "Buckaroo Bonzai Across The 8th Dimension" :) LOL
The Klingons from TOS, The Movies, DS9 and TNG were my favs :) and that's just coming from me.
This show has nothing to do with star trek
