Recently started Raising Hope. I was hesitant at first but it has me rolling!
I binged on stranger things, was initially skeptical but holy shit it got me hooked, it's quite a well paced and acted show and keeps you wanting more.
I've been watching the French show *Missions*(interesting and well made SciFi series), but there aren't any subtitles available after the fourth episode...besides that...Midnight, Texas (it's so terrible and interesting at the same time), South Park (first episode of the current season was a bit underwhelming), Mr. Mercedes (great) and The Sinner (totally underrated crime drama)
Netflix has done it again by mocking the "making a murderer" style of documentary and it's stupidly interesting
No spoilers here: I just watched Netflix's American Vandal. I have a tough time focusing on a new show (I prefer movies these days) but this had me hooked from the moment it started. I went into it hoping for some humor and it ended up being a tightly written, well acted, well-paced show that I just couldn't stop watching. I highly recommend it to anyone.
Currently on season 2 of raising hope, haven't seen it before or even heard of it until I read someone recommending it on reddit recently. It's very good, better than my name is earl in my opinion. Have atypical, I'm sorry and stan against evil scheduled next.
Finally had the time to start The Leftovers, I'm yet to finish season 1, but I already love it!
Also, started Bojack Horseman to fill the Rick and Morty void, pretty solid show, binge watched season 1 in about three days.
Last but not least, I am working on finishing the last two seasons of Louie before next week. The show is fantastic!
I'm watching *Halt and Catch Fire*, *Narcos*, *Buffy*, *Spartacus* and *Downward Dog*
I've been watching this Korean variety show "Knowing Brothers" (on Netflix it's called Men On A Mission) and it's hilarious, I love the cast. I've never heard of it before and started couple of days ago, I'm hooked. They get guests on the show, try to guess the answers to their questions (usually questions about themselves) and do some challenges and just generally talk about things, I love it, it's very enjoyable.
I am watching Party Down after a recent thread in here, I'm on the last episode now. I'm enjoying Midnight, Texas as a way to pass time without having to concentrate. I'm really sad Preacher has just finished, I really hope it's back for season 3
I've been watching "Utopia" the British one. Holy shit its good. Any other great conspiracy stories? I've seen mr robot. I like it but honestly I find it a little pretentious. I love shows like Legion and utopia though. Thrillers with bits of humor thrown in. I found Gentlys holistic detective agency a little too quirky though. I find Dirk annoying.
Started with Happy Valley a few days back. Bits of it are difficult to sit through but it is engaging and I like the lead character's performance.
Just finished "The Night Manager." Really scratched that "spy-thriller" itch I've had with excellent writing, performances, and production. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone in the mood for a spy story.
**Orphan Black**. Just finished catching up on the final season. I lost interest in the plot after season 2 but I kept watching because Tatiana just amazes me every time she's onscreen. I'm glad I never gave up because the finale was great, in terms of giving the characters (sestras) a good ending. I will follow Tatiana in her career and watch her future roles but I don't think it'll ever be the same as watching her play multiple characters in the same show. She really made it a unique experience for the viewer and I hope to see more talented actors and actresses like this in the future.
Just finished watching Ozark in like, a week. Amazing show, hate myself for finishing it so quickly cause I have nothing left to watch now.
Wallander on Netflix. Each episode is the length of a movie. It definitely satisfies my craving for tortured-detective tv shows, but some of the twists have me saying "Come on." Definitely slightly above average!
Watched the entire first season of The Good Place and The Ozarks, both excellent!
Watching Shameless for the first time. Into season 6. My wife and I love it.
Narcos....still working on second season.
Shetland. Saw first episode. It's ok. Accents are bit thick.
Mr Mercedes. 3rd episode so far. It's decent but already straying from the novel (why?).
Hunter for the Unabomber. It's ok. I thought there would be more of a hunt...but it's not really that at all.
Blacklist season 4-up to ep 7 ish. First couple episodes were kinda blah. Starting to get better now.
Edit: Oh yeah. I'm also watching Boardwalk Empire. I've had the first two seasons for awhile and never really got to it. It's so good. I've been a big fan of Steve Buscemi for a long time so I'm obviously loving his character. I'm also a huge fan of mob stuff so it's a fun watch for me lol
Binge watching HIMYM. Loving it. The humor is just legendary.
I binged I'm Sorry based on the rave reviews on here last week. Holy shit I loved it. I can't wait for next season. Andrea is my new favorite character.
I'm halfway through season 2 of **Bojack Horseman** after seeing Reddit bang on about it constantly.
I love it. It isn't laugh-out-loud hilarious all the time, but I love the complex themes and how dark it gets.
I'm also starting **30 Rock**. I'm about 6 episodes in and it's ok but I'm not sure if it's worth sticking with because I'm not finding it particularly funny OR entertaining.
