120 jcoveeny I binged it hard! The only thing that kinda bothered me was that the show started with the one dude from Africa speaking French (even though Kristen Bell hears it in English because #Heaven) then when they show his past on Earth he's at an English speaking university speaking English....
68 Couldnotbehelpd I love the show and I love the fact that other than the two main actors, who are two of my favorite actors, the rest of the cast are basically unknowns and they are crushing it. Mike Schur has a habit of casting diverse unknown actors who are amazing.
42 rabid_J Watched all of season 1 on friday night, waiting for season 2 to fully air before I binge watch that too. Definitely an easy watch.
16 FrenchPingu Nice. I just put it on my Neflix "to do" list because Kristen Bell but I was about to seek for online reviews before starting yet a new show. But as you say some show are better when you don't know what to except so I'll just go into it !
22 HardcoreKaraoke I finished the first season last night. I'm really excited to watch the first episode of season two after the season one finale. That was pretty mind blowing. Bell and Danson really make this show great, but Adam Scott steals every scene he's in.
11 AlastarHickey That shirt is forking amazing.
16 kunkadunkadunk I think I’m gonna give it another shot. I watched the first two episodes like 2-3 weeks ago and legitimately thought that it was terrible. Have seen nothing but praise on here though so maybe I was wrong
7 notjawn I really like Ted Danson's role. It's reminiscent of Sam Malone but also kind of adds in a little bit of naivety. Just refreshing to see Danson do some light hearted comedy after these past years of heavy and intense drama.
6 Rahdahdah Awesome show. Came for Kirsten Bell; stayed for Ted Danson. Make sure you stay the fuck away from any post-episode discussions, though. It's the perfect show for a whole bunch of theories, and the reddit hivemind tends to ruin the surprise by guessing it beforehand. Way more fun to just watch the show without all that noise, imo.
11 ohcanadaamerica Can't agree more, it's really a brilliant show. For those of you who don't know, it's from *one of the* brains behind The Office (US) and Parks & Rec, and stars Ted Danson and Kristen Bell
3 AgentElman Anyone recognize Chidi from the electric company?
3 whatdamuff I tried to get into this show when it first came out because Bell (I'm a VM Diehard) and struggled. After reading this thread I just binged hard. The writing gets progressively better and OMG Adam Scott. But also made me embarrassed because I love The Bachelor and RHCP... #BadPerson
5 Sportfreunde There's something unique about this sitcom that you just don't see with other sitcoms and you can see it on the show's subreddit.....fan theories. All kinds of possibilities of what's happened or what's happening. Sure there's discussion on shows like HIMYM on who the mother is but it never goes to this extent. Same thing on the People of Earth subreddit but to a lesser extent because it's smaller/less-active.
