American Horror Story: Cult | Season 7 Ep. 4: 11/9 Trailer
52 nodenaatti Love it or not, we can all agree that television has never seen a series quite like the Return. Nothing else like it.
77 oneytlr Best piece of TV I've seen in years.
9 AnirudhMenon94 Can someone please explain to me in the simplest possible way what the hell happened in that finale? I'm well and truly lost.
12 SmellyWeapon Will there be a season 4. I feel like we don't need one, but would be great to have one.
23 Frisnfruitig I am a bit conflicted about it tbh. Sometimes I felt like I was watching a piece of art, other times I was just bored and thought I was watching something pointless.
7 whoatethekidsthen This was the best thing to hit TV in a long time.
8 Cavewoman22 I was discombobulated, then I was discomdougilated, then I was lynched.
6 quarterchicken The season wasn't perfect. As other people have pointed out, there was too many unnecessary, almost random plot points that only served to take up time. But even with its issues, it was still absolutely engrossing. Had trouble sleeping after the finale trying to figure out what the hell I just happened.
1 Deakul I was incredibly disappointed with 85% of this revival, I was never a huge Lynch fan at all and the original show is the only work of his that I genuinely loved. It's more of a continuation of the really fucked up Fire Walk With Me film than the actual show and I suppose that could be a positive or a negative depending on whether or not you liked that film.(I did not) Most of The Return just seemed like total nonsense to me with really bizarre imagery. I only really liked the actual segments set in Twin Peaks or with Gordon & Co. But, the last 4 episodes of the season were a brief return to the original feel of the series even if they still had that crazy Lynchian shit shoved into them. And on top of all of that, it really felt like they wasted so many of the original characters, introduced side plots and then never concluded them, and then they go ahead and end of the season/series on yet another fucking cliffhanger. I'm honestly not even sure what the point of this return was, I don't know what I was expecting but it wasn't this.
-1 Ironman_was_taken There should be a 4th season. Where it's actually Twin Peaks and not dropping every plot for the sake of filler. I loved the season but the ending was meh.
