Best. Show. On. Network. Television. Seriously, this show is so amazing. One of the most impressive, original, weird, quirky, talent-filled, hilarious, surprisingly really dark but in a good way, absolutely wacko programs on TV that everyone should be watching. This show went from cute-funny-crazy to full-on absolute wackjob, and I hear this new season is even more nuts, and I can't wait. Rachel Bloom can do no wrong in my book, and I can't wait for her to bring her insanity to my brain.
I will see, hoping it's gonna be good, but being honest, season 2 made me disappointed. There are good episodes (like the three last) and i believe the show can recover, but the whole development of the girl grup was too rushed, as her feud with Paula, that could have been an amazing arc but not reached the full potential, maybe it was for the shorter time.
Also, i know this is a comedy, but Rebecca trying to stick a pen on Nathaniel for him trying to fire people and not suffer a single consequence of this is too much inconsistent, even in this universe. She is a good lawyer, but is not indispensable and have no power over his Family to stop a potential demission/consequence; He is too agressive to accept that (he fires a guy for the elevator thing) unlike Darryl.
Plus, the show lost part of his magic. Season one is build to subvert what we expect from a romantic comedy, from Paula to Greg. Rebecca becames self aware, much more than later, and Darryl discovering his bissexuality was a good plot. In season 2 darryl and whijosh story had no depth, Greg, a great character leaves and we lost the principal opposition to becks behaviour. Now, basically nobody call her shit out or tries to change her. I understand the Gregexit, but the show lost very much with this. Heather does that role a little, but usually from her it sounds more of a lightly joke than a deep critique, and seems that all the time she doenst care at a point where annoys me.
