I'm super stoked for this! I'm young enough that I only became aware of Chris Rock after his standup heyday and during his actor years, and I've been waiting for a new special ever since.
Also, he has aged quite well. He's 53 now!
I got to see this live in Brooklyn last year and it was wonderful. He was very honest about his life (such as cheating on his wife and needing money for alimony). It was hilarious.
Chris Rock directed by Bo Burnham.
I cannot ask for any more in life.
Louis, Dave and now Rock...Netflix is too good to standup fans
s/o to Ari Shaffir, Todd Barry, Judah Friedlander, and Patton Oswalt too. all great/unique standup specials
"American Airlines can't be lie, 'You know, most of our pilots like to land!'"
I love how every joke got a mild laugh until he hit me with this one. Fuckin' A, never sleep on Chris Rock.
watched it and the second half was phenomenal and heartfelt. really liked that bit
Watched it, loved the second half
Just watched it last night and it was hilarious. He gets pretty real with his audience so I love him for that.
Man, glad to see him back. He was a beast with Jake Reed and Randy Moss, he'll be a beast now.
