I just played this for my cat expecting some reaction. He just stretched and yawned. Must be a different dialect.

I remember reading somewhere that cats don't meow in the wild. This is something they learned as a way of seeking attention from humans. I don't have a source for this, so take this comment for what it's worth.
They're also nervous around humans so a lot of them have emotional support dogs. Picture it in your head, giant kitties going on adventures with the best of good boys
Actually cheetahs' calls are more chirps than meows. This is the lowest tone I've ever heard them call before. They're usually much higher pitched than this.
Also they do chirp in the wild. It's how they communicate and locate one another (other than through urine and other scents).
