Can't you just add some water if it is a little low? That is what I do with my coolant or oil if they get low.
If you only watched his videos and knew nothing else about cars I can imagine a decent amount of people falling for this.

I'm too poor to afford blinker fluid so I've been substituting soapy wooder and it works pretty well.
Just checked and my blinker compartment was completely dry. Does that mean I have a system that's designed to run dry or have I just neglected it for too long?
