The clipping of the Jedi dying was phenomenal. The tone of the music really brought it to life.
Alec Guinness played old Ben well. The pain of remembering his early days turn dark shows in his eyes.
49 times.... we fought that beast.
Hey, everyone, I goofed on the link, Watch the full video for the full FEELS, not just the timestamp that I linked. Sorry.
So Obi Wan just hands Luke a light sabre, no safety brief required? "here ya go, wave that around for a bit"...
turns it on without even being told what it does.
This would be much more emotional if they included some Jar Jar clips.
Sir Alec Guinness did such a good job in his role, if you can throw these prequel clips in between his expressions and see the effect they had on the weight of his words as an actor, needing to know nothing of the prequels.
I honestly really liked the prequels, but they could've been so much better. Someone made video (or maybe it was just a write up?) about the core problem with the prequels, hopefully someone can link to it.
The basic idea though was that obi-wan was the protagonist of the over arching story, but the writing/script never actually followed through on this idea. If the prequels actually focused on this, they would have a far more coherent and meaningful story.
Damn. Chills. This is good. Thanks for sharing!
