Pre-911 they probably didnt have to deal with all this bullshit. I remember when I was ypung entering the states all we needed was a drivers license. 9/11 killed any sense of reason on our borders and its still gone full retard.
That "Jim's corner" border telephone check in is one of the most idiotic things I've ever seen. Then they have the bus driver just read off the names of the kids for verification? Anyone could smuggle anything with this system if they wanted. It only hinders the law abiding citizens with legitimate business that you trust to constantly check in.
I remember when you didn't even have to own a passport to enter Canada. All the 9/11 hijackers were in the country *legally* yet we enacted all asinine rules for security theater.
The town is over an hour past the US border. So who provides emergency services for the town? The Canadians or Americans.
There is a place similar to this in Washington and British Columbia called Point Roberts. It's physically separated from the rest of Washington.
*puts tin foil hat on* this was posted for promotional purposes for Super Troopers 2
Jesus christ could you imagine being one of those kids and your high school girlfriend texts you saying her parents aren't home? Like at what point is it too much effort to get laid?
That....That isn't what 'in Canada' means.
Not available in my Country eh?...That's a serious oversight. pfft...
And yet, in Canada, we are unable to watch this video. Guess I'll just be using my VPN to watch it later. ;) Can't block me CBS Sunday Morning!
“Top of the Nation”? They seem to be forgetting LITERALLY THE ENTIRETY OF THE STATE OF ALASKA.
i wonder if people snuck into canada going that way? haha
