In defense of this video, the interesting thing is the water, not the delay. Most people have at some point in their lives dropped a piece of rock from a high place to a low place and heard the delay. There's nothing inherently different about doing the same with water, but it still kind of catches you off guard when you stop pouring the water and the noise doesn't stop right away. You can imagine this long tower of water being formed and then coming down. It's exactly what you'd expect but still somehow fascinating, at least to me.
