If you listen closely, you can hear a thousand years of common sense screaming silently at the obvious.
But seriously, you're telling me that an enforced life-long celibacy creates problems? That thousands of priests who start with good intentions gradually find their minds focused on the one thing they cannot have? Well color me not surprised. You might even say, this whole situation for an outside observer is slightly *frustrating*.
While I was scrolling I read this as 'Catholic sexual abuse Party'.....it's been a long day
Always wondered whether or not it was people who were predisposed to paedophilia who became priests, or something about being a priest that turns people into pedos
Weird, so... banning sex doesn't prevent people from desiring sex.
And banning booze didn't prevent people from boozing.
And banning drugs didn't prevent people from doing drugs.
It's almost like... all these rules... don't actually work? Is that.... could that be possible?
It was caused by people having too much power and the willingness to abuse it over the most defenceless and easily intimidated people/children. Its something that is replicated everywhere celibacy or not.
